The Misfit fitness watch brand, owned by the Fossil Group, has launched a new smart watch under the name Vapor X that runs Google’s Wear OS (Google).
Vapor X offers a 3 cm (1.19 inch) screen and 329 pixel density per inch. It is based on a Snapdragon Wear 3100 quad-core chip at up to 1.2 GHz of Qualcomm and 512 working memory (RAM) 4 megabytes and 4 GB internal music storage.
The watch allows independent use of the phone. For that purpose, it includes NFC connectivity for payment using the Google Pay service or for fast connection of Bluetooth headphones and standalone GPS. It also features a pulse meter, a rotary control knob like the Apple Watch, and two other programmable buttons. Its battery comes in 300/330 millimeter / hour capacity and should last for 24 hours, plus 48 hours in battery saving mode. The watch body is made of aluminum alloy and weighs only 43 grams – one of the lightest in the field. It is also waterproof at depths of up to 30 meters.
The company allows Vapor X to be priced at $ 200 (about NIS 703), although the product page states as if it were an offer price, with the full price supposed to be $ 280 (about NIS 985).
