Huawei has officially announced that it will hold an unveiling event for its next flagship device, the Mate 30, on September 19. The event will be held in Munich about a week after the IFA Electronics Show closes. The slogan that Wavy chose to pin down for the event is ‘Rethink Possibilities’ and a circular camera lens can be seen in the background.
Of course, what is likely to overshadow the announcement itself is the fact that Mate 30 will probably be the first Wavey flagship device not to come with the popular Google(Google) apps due to the boycott announced by the US government. If these restrictions are not removed until the device is actually launched in Europe, then instead of Google’s official app store, Google Assistant, and all apps Google provides for licensed devices, Wowie will need to provide its own proper replacements, or connect to partners not affected by US export laws at all.
The device’s specifications are expected to be a 6.71-inch screen, a powerful Kirin 990 processor, 4/6 gigabytes of working memory, a 4,200 mAh / h battery for the standard model, and 4,500 mA / h for the Pro model. The Pro model should also come with four cameras in the back that feature 5x optical zoom and digital zoom up to 50x.
