Xiaomi has launched a new edition of the Mi Notebook 14 that, unlike the previous one, has the IC letters attached to it at the end. According to the company, the computer addresses the problems discovered in the previous model, while still leaving the price at the same available price point, more or less.
This is, and is easy to understand, a computer that offers a 14-inch IPS screen and FHD resolution, and it offers a chassis based on aluminum and magnesium for added rigidity. Despite this, the weight is quite reasonable and stands at 1.5 kg, and it includes a 46-watt / hour battery that should be sufficient for the company up to 10 working hours. The charger, by the way, offers a power of 65 watts.
The computer is based on Intel’s Core i5-10210 processor, a tenth generation in the family that offers a 15 watt TDP. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, the option to integrate NVIDIA’s MX250 chip, and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
The main difference that can be noticed is the addition of a webcam. Yes, even in Shaumi they have discovered that we are in an age where a webcam is of great importance, even if it is in a quality of only 720p, and that a lot of people work from home. Beyond that there are two USB 3.1A ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port and support for WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5. The price is about $ 600, compared to about $ 575 where the previous model was launched.
