Gigabyte will soon launch a new version of its Gaming Box, which will be based on GeForce RTX 2070, the relatively new NVIDIA display card. The box will be launched under the company’s gaming brand, Aorus, and is, as before, designed to provide laptop owners with a powerful built-in graphics chip capable of playing advanced games.
The official packaging of the new gigabyte game box has been unveiled on the VideoCardz website , and as you can see, it offers a customized ventilation system based on one large fan.
The card inside is a customized RTX 2070 Mini ITX 8G card, suitable for small cases, and as its name reveals, it comes with 8GB of GDDR6 memory at 448GB / sec bandwidth. The card itself is not capable of external speed, but it offers a basic speed of 1,410 MHz and a turbo speed of 1,620 MHz.
The box connects to laptops via Thunderbolt 3 on a USB Type-C connection with support for up to 4 PCIe channels. In addition, there are 4 USB Type-A ports for connecting external devices such as a keyboard and mouse, along with 3 DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 connectors that come with the card itself for connecting to screens.
