Spotify Music Service offers free 30-day premium service worldwide and in Israel, however, the company has now announced that it is extending its free 90-day usage time.
This is a benefit worth about NIS 60, which is available to all free and paying users. It is not limited in time so this is the new default plan for those who choose to pay for a premium subscription. These will win unlimited skipping of songs, playing every song in the catalog, choosing listening quality, removing advertisements and listening offline.
Today, Spotify has over 100 million paying subscribers worldwide, out of about 220 million subscribers. That means almost half of subscribers pay regularly and monthly. The service currently has a variety of 50 million songs and 450,000 podcasts.
Alex Norstrom, VP of Spotify and Premium Service Director of Spotify: “Listening to music and podcasts plays an important role in the everyday lives of all of us, so we wanted to give our users three full months of the Spotify’s premium experience. Understanding that it takes time to enjoy the full premium experience and all the features it offers and we’re excited to give our users free access and the opportunity to fall in love with over 50 million songs, billions of playlists and 450,000 podcasts – for free. “
